About Disability Guide

Disability Guide is a plain-English starting point for disability support in Australia. It is for anyone finding their way: families and participants navigating the NDIS, and support workers starting out in the sector, and provider businesses organising their teams.

Everything here is general information to help you get your bearings and make your own decisions. It is not financial, legal or NDIS advice, and for anything specific the NDIS (ndis.gov.au) and the relevant authorities are the source of truth.

Our one rule

We build Sparks Provider for provider businesses, Sparks Scribe for support workers, and Sparks Flow for families managing their own support team. When we recommend one of our tools, we make that connection clear.

We build three tools in this space. When one of them genuinely fits what you are trying to do, we will point to it and tell you it is ours. When it does not, we will say that too. Knowing who is behind a recommendation is what lets you weigh it properly.

• Sparks Provider (sparksprovider.app) brings rosters, staff, client records, timesheets and invoicing together for provider businesses. It costs $499 a year including GST, with unlimited staff and clients and Xero integration included.
• Sparks Scribe (sparkscribe.app) is built for support workers managing their own work and records.
• Sparks Flow (sparksflow.app) is built for families managing their own support team.
